  • If you are “Viva” or “TOURIST UNLIM” tariff plan subscriber, to switch to “Y” tariff plan you first need to send the *208*3000*2# command and then recharge your account balance.
  • If you are “X”, “Z”, “START”, “START+”, “UNLIM” or “UNLIM Basic” tariff plan subscriber, to switch to “Y” tariff plan you first need to send the *208*3000*1# command and then recharge your account balance.
  • Prepaid and postpaid subscribers of Viva “X” and “Y” tariff plans can activate the service “Yandex Plus” via the “My Viva” application. In the case of prepaid subscription, the service is activated at the next reactivation of embedded packages; and in the case of postpaid subscription – on the first day of the month following the activation.

After consumption of the 20 GB internet package during the 30- validity period, a 500 MB additional package is automatically activated upon the availability of at least AMD 100 on your account balance. The package is available for 24 hours from the moment of activation.

After the expiration of the 30- validity period, in case of sufficient funds on your account balance, the packages of services within “Y” tariff plan are considered as activated only after receiving a notifying SMS.

How to switch to the tariff plan
  • If you are subscribed to “Viva”, “YES”, “GO”, “Alo We”, “Dialect” tariff plans

    Simply send *208*3000# command

  • If you are subscribed to a postpaid tariff plan

    Visit a nearby service center with your passport or ID card. Our employees will gladly help you to switch to “Y” tariff plan.

  • If you are subscribed to other operator’s network

    You can switch to Viva network preserving your phone number, free of charge. Then you can activate Y tariff plan.
    To join Viva network, simply visit a nearby service center with your passport or ID card. Our employees will take care of the rest.

  • If you are subscribed to “X”, “Z”, “START”, “START+”, “UNLIM” or “UNLIM Basic” tariff plan

    Send *208*3000# to switch to “Y” tariff plan immediately
    Send *208*3000*1# to switch to the tariff plan after the expiration of the validity period of the current option.

  • If you are “Viva” tariff plan subscriber

    to switch to “Y” tariff plan you first need to send the *208*3000*2# command and then recharge your account balance.

Notes
  • Viva bears no responsibility for sending SMS notifications upon the consumption or the expiration of the validity period of voice, SMS, and Internet services. The above-mentioned SMS notifications are sent with the aim of supporting the subscribers to avoid unforeseen costs and depend on the technical capacities of Viva public electronic communication network. Therefore, not receiving the SMS notification or receiving it with delay may be caused by circumstances beyond the Operator’s control, such as the quality and technical characteristics of the subscriber’s device, or circumstances hindering the propagation of radio waves and the uninterrupted operation of radio equipment, the subscriber’s location, etc. To avoid unforeseen expenditures because of service usage, the subscriber must control the balance and the validity period of the embedded services via corresponding USSD commands.
  • “X”, “Z”, “START”, “START+”, “UNLIM”, “UNLIM Basic”, “Viva”, “Dialect”, “YES”, “GO”, “Alo We” tariff plan subscribers can switch to “Y” tariff plan via USSD command. Other prepaid and postpaid tariff plan subscribers should apply to a Viva service center with a passport or ID card in order to switch to “Y” tariff plan.
  • The validity period of the mobile card activated for the first time is 105 days.
  • If the mobile card validity period expires during the activity period of “Y” tariff plan option, the services within packages provided by the tariff plan are suspended until the account is recharged, otherwise, they are terminated.
  • It is recommended to activate “BIT”, “Super BIT”, “Super Couple” and “Super 0 Daily” services only in case of not having active packages provided by the tariff plan. In case of activating “BIT”, “Super BIT” and “Super Couple” services; the Internet-package within the tariff plan is consumed after “BIT”, “Super BIT” and “Super Couple” services. In case of activating “BIT”, “Super BIT”, or “Super Couple” services while having active packages within tariff plan, the megabytes of the mentioned services will be consumed when using the unlimited services embedded within the tariff plan.
  • In case of having active packages provided within the tariff plan and activating the “Super 0 Daily” service, the embedded minutes provided within the tariff plan are consumed first; the minutes provided by the service are consumed after.
  • “Viva Bonus” program is available to “X”, “Y”, “Z”, “START”, “START+”, “UNLIM” and “UNLIM Basic” tariff plans subscribers. However, airtime or Internet packages provided by the program are recommended only in case of not having active packages provided within the tariff plan. In case of activating airtime packages provided by “Viva Bonus” program the subscriber first consumes the package provided within the tariff plan, and then – the package within the “Viva Bonus” program. In case of activating “BIT” and “Super BIT” services via “Viva Bonus” program, the subscriber first consumes the “BIT” and “Super BIT” services; the Internet-package within the tariff plan is consumed after “BIT” and “Super BIT” services.
  • Services provided by “Y” tariff plan are nullified after the expiration of the option validity period, and the opportunity to use unlimited options embedded within the tariff plan without consuming the main internet package, is blocked.
  • The airtime, SMS sending and Internet provided by the tariff plan, as well as the opportunity to use unlimited options embedded within the tariff plans without consuming the main internet package, are not automatically prolonged or available in roaming. Learn the tariffs of services in roaming.
  • Packages provided by “Y” tariff plan can be used within 30 days after the activation. One can reactivate the packages of the current tariff plan before the expiration of the activity period by dialing *208*4#: in case of reactivation, the activity period of the new packages is 30 days from the moment of activation of the new packages.
  • When making calls to Viva phone numbers, first the 1500-minute package is consumed, then the 10 000 minutes of on-net airtime provided by “Y” tariff plan.
  • After consumption of the 20 GB internet package during the 30- day validity period, a 500 MB additional package is automatically activated upon the availability of at least AMD 100 on the subscriber’s account balance. The package is available for 24 hours from the moment of activation.
  • In case the packages provided by “Y” tariff plan are not reactivated after the expiration of the 30- day validity period, the automatic activation of the 500 MB daily package is suspended. The subscriber then can activate “BIT”, “Super BIT”, “Super Couple” services providing a daily Internet package.
  • In case there are sufficient funds on the subscriber’s account after the expiration of the validity period of the packages provided by “Y” tariff plan, the activation fee is charged, and the activation of packages is automatically prolonged, otherwise, the service is deactivated, and the subscriber continues using services at the tariffs set for the tariff plan. The activation of the packages is automatically prolonged once there are sufficient funds on the account.
  • It is recommended not to use voice, Internet or SMS services during activation or auto-prolongation of the packages provided by “Y” tariff plans, as the activation may fail because of technical issues.
  • In case of sufficient funds on the account balance, the packages of services within the tariff plan are considered as activated only after receiving a notifying SMS.
  • Direct calls to MTS Russia can be made to phone numbers starting with the following codes: MTS Russia: +791, +798, +79780, +79781, +79782, +79787, +79788, +7495, +7499, +790835
  • Direct calls to “t2” can be made to phone numbers starting with the codes in the list.
  • The offer for direct calls to the Russian “t2” network is available from 05.05.2025 till 05.08.2025 (inclusive).
  • Viva does not guarantee the provision of calls to “MTS Russia” and “t2” in case the phone number receiving the call in Russia is ported from another mobile network of Russia within mobile network portability service. Learn the international call tariffs.
  • When calling to a Viva phone number, which has switched to another mobile network within mobile number portability service, the subscriber first consumes the airtime for calls to other networks (if available), and in case of their unavailability, the calls are charged in accordance with the tariffs set for the subscriber’s current tariff plan.
  • To replenish the amount of balance insufficient on your account and to activate the main and additional packages within “Y” prepaid tariff plan the subscriber can use “Recharge +”service.
  • Note: one can also subscribe to the tariff plan without its active packages. In case of refilling the account in the amount of AMD 3000 or more, the embedded bundles will be automatically activated for 30 days.
  • Opening hyperlinks within unlimited options embedded within the tariff plan and along with their usage, data exchange with other Internet resources is possible; in that case the main Internet package MBs within the tariff plan is consumed. In case the main Internet package is consumed some services of the applications may be used partially. To use the main Internet package provided by the tariff plan properly we recommend that you control the balance of your MBs by sending *208# and, if needed, reactivate your packages. This limitation does not pertain to “IMUSIC” service.
  • When using maps and making calls within “Snapchat” the Internet of the main package is consumed.
  • Mobile cards with activated “X”, “Y”, “UNLIM”, “UNLIM Basic”, “START” or “START+” tariff plans are not intended for use with modems, Wi-Fi devices, or in phones, which are used as Wi-Fi devices. In case the card with the indicated tariff plan is used in a modem, or the phone, it is installed in, is used as a Wi-Fi device, consumption of the Internet of the main package and limitations in Internet access are possible when using Internet, as well as other unlimited services embedded in the tariff plan.
  • Using content by “Netflix” and “Apple Music” requires paid subscription.
  • “+3GB”, “+10GB”, “+20GB”, “+Premium” , “+Unlim” , and “+Video” services are available within the “Y” tariff plan.
  • In order to avoid unexpected charges, it is recommended to keep all the applications up to date. Not updated applications may consume the main Internet package, and some services of the applications may be used partially.
  • Till 31 March 2024, inclusively, our compatriots displaced from Artsakh have an opportunity to subscribe to “Y special” tariff plan paying AMD 1 for the first 6 months of subscription. Change of ownership within the “Y special” tariff plan is not available.
