Compliance and Business Ethics

The leading position of Viva is largely determined by its scope and volume of activities, directions and dynamics of development, variety and quality of the products and services. However, it's not only due to operational productivity that Viva, which enjoys the trust of more than 2 million subscribers, including corporate subscribers from the business comunity and the public sector, continues to hold a leading position. Over the years, Viva has developed a corporate system and culture that comply with the acting legislation and business ethics requirements and principles, based on the world’s best practices and high standards of business management.
Viva is guided by the ISO 26000 (International Social Responsibility Standard) and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System) standards. For the first time in Armenia, Viva has published a Corporate Social Responsibility Report based on global GRI standards.
The Compliance system includes measures aimed at early detection, prevention, and management of risks, improvement of the Company’s corporate culture, implementation and development of the best corporate governance practices and standards of responsible business conduct based on the provisions of the acting legislation, compliance requirements and recommendations.
The long and difficult path of Viva to building an effective corporate governance system strengthens the confidence that the company’s reputation and position will grow stronger, and the responsible behavior underlying its success will serve as an example for other enterprises, contributing to the introduction of corporate governance institutions in the country and their further development.

Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy and Managing the Conflict of Interest Policy

To ensure the compliance of Viva's activities with the requirements of applicable Anti-corruption legislation, identification, assessment, analysis and minimization of corruption risks, the Company is building a compliance system. Every Viva employee must act in accordance with the approved Anti-Corruption Law Compliance Policy.

Viva Armenia “ Hot Line”

For the purpose of informing on potential or committed violations of clauses of the Codebook of Business Conduct and Ethics, corruption and fraud, as well as other legislation pertaining to the sphere of the Company’s activities, please write to hotline@viva.am . To place a free call from another country, please follow the instructions posted on the www.viva.am/en/hot_line. You can also report on violations by filling in a simple application on the website.

 

The Company guarantees confidentiality and non-disclosure of personal data of applicants at acceptance and examination of applications. The Company obliges to prevent actions in response against persons acting with good faith, reporting about violations. Violations can also be reported anonymously. At the same time, submitting intentionally false or misleading information is not allowed.

Complaints regarding the subscriber services, as well as grievances regarding the quality of subscriber services, are not examined in the scope of the line’s operations. For these purposes, please refer to the Contact Center at phone number 111, +374 93 29 71 11.
