How to activate roaming for postpaid cards?
To activate the service one only needs to send *121*1#. Roaming can also be activated at Viva service centers by presenting one’s passport. By the way, the roaming service can be activated without guarantee deposit.
To deactivate the service, send *121*3#; to check the status, send *121*0#.
How to activate roaming for prepaid cards?
- To activate SMS roaming you need to dial *121*1#, or dial *121# and then choose 2 from the menu options.
- To deactivate SMS roaming you need to dial *121*3# or dial *121# and then choose 3 from the menu options.
- To check if SMS roaming is active you need to dial *121*0#.
How to become a corporate subscriber?
You can become a corporate customer by visiting one of Viva service centers or by applying online.
How to make calls while roaming?
When you are using your phone outside Armenia, you use network resources of foreign operators. That is why dialing format should correspond to that of the network you are roaming in.
Thus, a call to Armenia is always dialed as an international call:
+ [country code] [area or network code] [phone number]
E.g. +374 93 297111 (Viva Hotline)
In order to make a call within the country you are roaming in, you can use both national and international dialing formats:
[area or network code] [phone number]
or
+ [country code] [area or network code] [phone number]
To send SMS to any destination, please dial:
+ [country code] [network code] [phone number]
For example to send SMS to 093 297111 Viva number you should dial: +374 93 297111
How to make calls while roaming in Viva network?
Choose Viva, ARM 05, RA 05 or 283 05 from your phone settings menu and make your stay in Armenia more pleasant and comfortable with Viva roaming service.
In order to make calls in Armenia you should dial:
0 [area or network code] [phone number]
E.g. 093 297111
or
+ [country code] [area or network code] [phone number]
E.g. +374 93 297111
To make a call to any international destination, including your home country, you should dial:
+ [country code] [area or network code] [phone number]
To send SMS to any destination, please dial:
+ [country code] [network code] [phone number]
How to recharge prepaid cards?
There are several ways of recharging prepaid cards:
1. Directly from mobile phone: in this case you need to get a recharge code either by buying a recharge card or from any ATM
- To recharge your prepaid card dial *123*the secret code#
- To recharge any other prepaid card dial *125*the secret code*phone number#
2. Online: through Viva website
3. Via Telcell electronic payment machines located in various places of Yerevan and Gyumri
How to recharge prepaid cards in roaming?
While in roaming you can recharge your account online from Viva website. Your friends in Armenia can also recharge your card. And in networks that support USSD system, having a recharge code, you can recharge your account directly from your phone (for more information call 111).
In Russia you can recharge your account in MTS Russia shops – either in cash or by discarding the amount from your bank card (Visa, MasterCard) without commissions.
