Vincent Roche visited Viva's headquarters and took part in a joint press conference

One of the speakers featured Vincent Roche, CEO and Chair of ADI, who will be honored as the 16^th Laureate of the Global High-Tech Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to Humanity through High-Tech.

Today, Viva hosted a press conference at Viva which featured speeches from various influential leaders.  

Vincent Roche, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chair of the Board of Directors of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), spoke at the press conference as part of his visit to Armenia where he will be honored on 15 October as the 16^th Laureate of the Global High-Tech Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to Humanity through High-Tech. Other speakers at the press conference included Armen Avetisian, General Director of Viva, Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and Hovik Musayelyan, Director of Synopsys Armenia and Coordinator of the Executive Board and International Selection Committee of the Award and André Andonian, Chair APAC Flagship Pioneering, Chairman Emeritus North Asia McKinsey & Company.

For 16 years, the General Partner of the Global High-Tech Award has been Viva, the leading telecommunications operator in Armenia. The initiator and supporter of the Award is Synopsys Armenia. As a result of this successful cooperation, world leaders are honored in Armenia for their impact in the field of high technologies, people's lives and the global economy.

As part of his trip to Armenia, Mr. Roche will visit the Engineering City, where he will participate in the opening of the Legends’ Walk of Fame and will plant a tree. As always, the laureate will visit the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, where he will be awarded an honorary doctorate from the university. The visit's agenda also includes a meeting with students from six Armenian universities, as well as a visit to Synopsys Armenia R&D Center and Educational Department.
