The “BUSUU” app is the largest language learning community in the world, offering up to 13 language courses both on mobile and web platforms.

The service offers:

  • courses in 13 languages:  English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, Turkish, Polish and Dutch

  • McGraw-Hill Education official certificate of Language Proficiency.

How to subscribe?

  • Via https://busuu.viva.am portal by clicking to “Subscribe” button,
  • By sending SMS to 2878 short number: send “Start1” for 1 day subscription; “Start7” for 1 week subscription; and “Start30” for 1 month subscription and following the link received in the response SMS.
  • Once subscribed to service and having received an SMS with confirmation, press ”Go to service” button to be redirected to “BUSUU” portal.
  • Create an account on “BUSUU” portal by entering and confirming the respective credentials.
  • Get access to  “BUSUU” premium membership.

 

How to use the service?

The service can be used through the web platform https://busuu.viva.am and through the app, available for devices running both on Android and iOS operating systems.

 

Service price

1 day subscription – 80 Դ

1 week subscription – 535 Դ

1 month (30 days)  subscription – 2100 Դ

 

  • In case of activating the service for the first time, you will be given a trial period of one day. During this time, you can use the service without any restrictions. Upon the end of the trial period, the paid version is activated automatically.
  • There is no extra charge for SMS sent to 2878 short number.
  • *To use the special conditions and access to premium subscription, you need to subscribe to the service at https://busuu.viva.am/ webpage and proceed with creating account on “BUSUU” website.s
  •  When subscribing for the first time, the system will offer you to enter your email or phone number and set a password.
  • *After the first subscription via the https://busuu.viva.am/webpage and creating the corresponding login and password, you can download the app and sign in. Once user has created the appropriate login and password, he can download the application or go to the desktop version and log in with the respective credentials.
  • If the login or the password has not been created immediately after subscription, or if the user has been subscribed to “BUSUU” service previously, he will be able to access the page within 30 days and create an account at the platform within the mentioned period.
  • If the payment for the service fails, the subscriber is immediately transferred to suspended status (after the period of the paid subscription expires). For instance, if the user pays for a weekly subscription today, the next charging occurs on the 7th day of the current subscription. If the charging is unsuccessful, the subscriber is moved to a suspended status and loses access to the service.
  • Charge attempts are processed within 30 days in suspended period. If the attempts are not successful, the service subscription is cancelled. In case of a successful charging attempt, the access to the service is restored for the subscriber.
  • If you have an active subscription through Google Play/App Store, please cancel your previous subscription to avoid double payment.
  • For information on the status of your subscription, visit https://busuu.viva.am/view/account.
  • If you use a Wi-Fi device, additional number confirmation is needed by entering the respective code received via SMS.

How to unsubscribe?

  • Via SMS: send the word “Stop” to 2878 short number
  • Via “BUSUU” portal https://busuu.viva.am/view/account: on the personal page press “Unsubscribe” and confirm.
  • In case of reactivating the service after it was deactivated, no trial period is granted anymore.

 

Notes

  • The service is available on devices with Android and IOS operating systems and in a desktop version.
  • The service is available both via mobile and web applications.
  • The service is available to prepaid and postpaid subscribers of Viva.
  • Simple way to pay right from the mobile account balance of the subscriber (for prepaid) or together with the monthly fee (for postpaid).
  • The sum for consuming mobile Internet is charged according to the tariffs set for the current tariff plan.
  • The price of the Internet and SMS consumed while using the app in roaming is charged according to the tariff set for the given destination.
