Viva and “Fnet Telecom” enter “Haghtanak” district in Yerevan

The “RED” tariff plan is a three-in-one package of services that incorporates mobile airtime and Internet, fixed Internet and digital TV, including the “Иви” online cinema and access to the “Kinodaran” application. “RED” is an affordable all-inclusive package of services for families.

The partnership with “Fnet Telecom” which started several months ago within the Viva “RED” tariff plan, is now moving into a new level. Based on the great demand for services, a joint project between Viva and “Fnet Telecom” is being implemented in the “Haghtanak” district of Yerevan. A new fixed network is being built to serve customers who value the convenience and quality of digital services. Thanks to convergent solutions that combine infrastructure and technology, it is now possible to get all services in one package at an affordable price within the “RED” tariff plan. And the residents of the district, who subscribe before 15 October 2024, will have the opportunity to take the advantage of the no payments for 3 months promotion, which provides the services of the “RED” tariff plan free of charge for the first 3 months of subscription.

The “RED” package of convergent services provided by Viva and “Fnet Telecom” offers many opportunities. The tariff plan is available to both Viva prepaid subscribers, who can activate it by sending a USSD command indicating their desired option, and equally to subscribers of other telecom operators by joining the “RED” via the number portability service.

“Continuing the goal of expanding access to services, “Fnet Telecom” prioritizes locations where residents are most likely to use the services we offer. Following the same reasoning, “Fnet Telecom” and Viva have previously devised a shared tariff package called “RED” for the residents of “Haghtanak” district. We are delighted to state that, though the network construction is still underway and services are only available in about 30% of the area, we already have roughly 150 subscribed households who have expressed their happiness with the provided services and the high quality of service. The “RED” tariff plan is a handy, flexible, affordable option that offers a wide range of opportunities and solutions. It includes mobile and fixed-line services such as mobile voice and Internet services, fixed-line Internet, digital TV, the “Иви” online cinema, and access to “Kinodaran” (on devices running commonly used software systems).

The “RED” tariff plan includes three main and three regional packages. The main packages are intended for all users, whereas regional packages are only for residents of the regions. Regional packages, by the way, have the more affordable subscription options. The tariff plan is now available in a number of locations, with the network constantly increasing.

The innovative platform of convergent solutions for collaboration with Viva is now open to other fixed Internet and digital TV service providers. The collaboration with “Fnet Telecom” is also based on this novel methodology. In the first half of 2024, the supplier of fixed-line communications, Internet, and digital television “Fnet Telecom” joined the list of Armenia's first 1000 top taxpayers, paying AMD 262 770 000 into the state budget.
